The prepaid credit card has been generating a lot of buzz lately, for people that have no idea what it is, it is a way for anyone to buy an electronic visa or master card(there are other ones out there) from a local or nearby newsagent and load it up with cash after registering it to their identity which can be then used in stores, on the phone or online as the holder wishes to spend.
There is an incredible advantage that the prepaid cards has over bank cards namely:
the chance of people stealing your personal details are slim since you can just about use another name(not someone else's) e.g john doe, to make discreet and legal transactions on the internet.
You can disguise your date of birth for further protection against hackers and internet thieves
you can have multiple cards on different names.
you can top it up over and over till the expiry date runs out
The limitations are not that big a deal but here are a few in case you want to know:
depending on the kind of card brand that's being purchased, different companies have different terms of service, some are indeed very strict while some are just flexible.
there are limits to the amount to which you can top it up to per day(think $5 - $15,000)
while most of this cards are refundable, it can take up to a week to get your money back for customers that aren't satisfied enough.
prepaid credit cards for teenagers
the ideal companies have the highest price tags but are well worth it for teenagers to get prepaid cards
Currently prepaid credit card are one of the safest way to make purchase anywhere it's acceptable and guarantee a sure peace of mind.
No need to worry going over the limits that normal credit cards have, the prepaid credit cards have an edge over that because you can only spend what you put in.
It also helps to build up a good credit history, even if a person has a poor credit profile, using it over a month could instantly fix a damaged portfolio
